As politics is not purely based on data, statistics or some universal search for truth, what people take from President Trump’s recent speech in Poland depends on perspective.
For Leftists suffering from Trump derangement syndrome, they detested the speech as in many cases, opposition to Trump is all they intellectually have left.
Meanwhile, traditional neoconservatives such as Charles Krauthammer enjoyed the more stridently anti- Russian rhetoric in Trump’s speech.
On the other side of the conservative coin, Pat Buchanan praised Trump’s critiques of transnationalism and open borders.
However for mine, Trump’s unyielding support for nation- state patriotism by describing the historical struggles and triumphs of Poland was particularly moving, in offering a broader insight into the 45th President’s ideologically conservative credentials.
For Trump’s full speech, see below:
“Magnificent” is an apt description of Trump’s speech. He continues to amaze me. I never thought he had it in him. He is turning out to be a most consequential president – and just in time. I don’t think the US would ever be able to recover if Old Hitlery (® ™ DNC. Old Hitlery and the DNC are wholly-owned subsidiaries of George Soros) had been able to fraud her way into the White House.
Hear hear! While he hasn’t done everything right, Trump has certainly done enough to please his base. As someone who has supported him from close to the start, I can truly say that I am proud to have supported him back then, and am proud to support him now.
